West wind has been good to us providing a steady bite on all size and types of fish. Howie flies are my go to on the wires and Reaper or Vulcan spoons on the 2,4,6 and 8 color lead core are taking the Rainbow Trout. The big King Chinooks are active every trip.

Some Browns being caught on Vulcan spoons. We did not get out over 225 feet of water yesterday. Head 45 degrees north in Whitefish Bay and set lines in 75 feet. Troll northeast have a great fishing season.

East wind for five days slowed the fishing. Now the lake calmed down and bite is back on. Mostly a spoon bite on lead core. The big King Chinooks are active every trip. The action and location has been from 75-170 feet. Chinooks and Coho have dominated the catch and lots of Lake Trout

I fished mostly out over 70 feet again. East wind has pushed the warmer water in. Fish 70 to 140 feet. Near shore action on McKinley pier has been picking up.

Mixed bag all week. Very consistent. The action and location has not changed. Chinooks and Coho have dominated the catch and lots of Rainbows too. Chinooks went for Magnum Reaper Fish n Chip spoons in chartreuse /silver.

I fished mostly out over 90 feet again. East wind has pushed the warmer water in. Fish 90 to 200 feet but anglers near shore are catching some fish. We did not get out over 190 feet of water yesterday. Head north in Whitefish Bay and set lines in 80 feet.
